Greeks.live Virtual Sub-portfolio are designed to facilitate you to separate different strategies and view the total Greeks of different positions by dividing them into different virtual sub-portfolios, while sharing the same account margin.
Unlike Deribit's sub-accounts, Greeks.live Virtual Sub-portfolio can only simulate the difference between positions and Greek letters in an account, but not the physical segregation of margin. Therefore, if you need margin segregation between different positions, please use Deribit sub-accounts.
The button to enable Greeks.live Virtual Sub-portfolio function is located in the upper right corner of the web side menu bar, as shown in the figure below, check the checkbox to enable it.
In addition, you can also enable this feature at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Once turned on, you will see a series of prompts.
Mouse hover to the account switch button as shown below, all official accounts on the left and virtual sub-portfolios on the right.
Click Create button, fill in the account name and click Submit to add a virtual sub-portfolio.
Suppose now we have two strategies in our account, one is a bear spread expiring at the end of May, and the other is a calendar strategy. As shown in the figure below.
In order to view the two strategies separately, we now create two virtual sub-portfolios, Bear Spread_May and Calendar Calls.
On the administration page, you can add, delete, and modify the account name for the account.
